I have a 560 grey, crystal that's on the way, and it has a blade stamp of:

BUCK
110T
USA

And the label of the box is:

XLT-TI CRYSTAL
B560-WC-0

I've seen many 560 pics with the same blade stamp. I thought that I might have a 560 with a 2003 110 replacement blade. But there are a lot of 560's with the 110T stamp. Did all of them have their blades replaced? Also, could someone tell me the production years for the 560?

There were indeed a lot of 560's made with 110 blades. Apparently, the factory ran out of 560 blades and substituted 110 blades which are identical except for the stamp. Assuming the knife is in the correct box, it is likely not grey in color as the handles of 560crystal models have sort of a gold tint.

I thought that the 560 came with Ti handles in 4 colors, grey crystal, gold crystal, plain grey, and black? At least that is the impression that I got from one of the pics with that description on one of the forums. They were all pictured together.

Ya, I see now there were just three types, the crystal, the grey and black handles. The fourth that was listed was a polished grey. Here is a pic of mine...

Please let me know if this is a 560 crystal.... Thanks!

I need a grey crystal one now... Is there two different gold ones???
Here's the one I got.... I think there is a dark one too...

I have never seen a grey crystal one, and don't really think they were made. As I recall, however, there are two distinct colors in grey, one (the older model with a non-radius edge) is darker in color than the later one that has a radius edge.

P.S. Skyhawk, yes, yours does indeed appear to be a crystal.

I think Buck stumbled onto some more handles and made them up using 110 blades. As the suppliers mfg.plant burned down in 2000.Then Buck never sought out a new one.Titanium is expensive to produce.Count yourself lucky to even have one.DM

There are gray crystals, gold crystals, gray in a smooth finish, grays in a brushed finish, and blacks in a smooth as well as a textured finish.

and there are a few that have been mirror polished
