Hello all, I was just posting to say I picked up my first Buck 560u today at the gun show for $40 :D I have been wanting one of these for a while and just could not find one execpt e bay. Well back to the point the 560 is a GREAT knife! The 560 is much slimmer than the 110 but the 560 fits like a glove. I just wanted to share my joy. Thanks John

chickentrax I am sorry it took me so long to post back. currently I am haveing trouble hosting the pics online. The pics are to big to post but I will try to send some pics to your email. Thanks for your time John

Just received a black 560 with a 110 blade in the mail yesterday. Took a pix of it and my other 560's (the grey one is an auto). The 560 is a model I wish Buck would bring back! Good score, johnwaynesanw!

Nice collection there Clydetz, I have 2 560's one gold and one silver with a "110" stamped blade. I like them, but both are mint so I haven't carried and used them yet. I actually really want to but can't bring myself to mar one up yet.

I must say the black 560 looks realy good and I think I will have to keep my eye out for one of those now. I have learned to be patiant when looking for some knives, but good things come to those who wait. Nice collection by the way. :D some day I hope to have as many 560s as you. I would love to have an auto 560 also. Does anyone know of a company that converts 560s to an auto? Thanks John

It appears to be the same conversion as applied to 110's...Clydetz didn't say if it was a dual-action or single, but it looks like a dual...

They [110's] show up on the auctions occasionally...Don't see any [560's] today...

Is this a discontinued model??? Fewer of those available to convert as there is no bulk supply to draw on...

Or so I've heard...

Yes, the 560's are discontinued.

I've got one. Nice knife. Slimmer, lighter, and I like the finger grooves. Well worth having one in your collection.

Single action; conversion by Vince Londino.

My mistake! I should have noticed it has a hole, not a notch... :D

Interesting that Mr Londino machined the "kick" flat...I wonder how long a tool bit lasts on Titanium???

here is my 560 with matching blade...
and with a reg blade they do make one heck of a user.

It might help (notice there is no nail nick) but I tend to believe it's strictly for appearance.

Those are some really nice 560s.
Here is mine.
