580 Barrage G10 scales?

A while back, Knives Ship Free carried a G10 scale...

The Barrage fits nicely in my hands, but the cheap plastic scales are slippery and well...cheap.

Does anyone know where I could find a set of G10 scales?

Allen Putman makes g10 scales for the Barrage (or at least he did - didn't look to see if they were still available)

The backside of the scales are hollowed out, poor fit.

I wish I had found this thread a few days ago. I dropped 80 bucks on some G10 scales and they are milled out on the back. Makes for a hollowish feel akin to the original cheap plastic scales.

I am going to order a set of Sergison now!

He does good work!

I think they only work for the standard pocket clip (not deep carry), but you'll have to message him to confirm. I would know this by now if BM didn't mess up my order (which ultimately led to me focusing on other things in life).

The only thing I had to do was flatten out the scale where the clip presses onto it. Otherwise, it's too difficult to holster. Also, it can tear up your clothing.

Oooh yeah that looks nice. I also really like that bevel job you did. I need to re-profile my Barrage a bit more on the ole Edge Pro!
