586 Mini Barrage

Does anybody have some feedback on this knife? I just ordered one because I thought it would be a good choice for my first axis assist and m390 knife.

Can't speak for the 586, but its big brother is probably my favorite benchmade. I can pretty much promise you you will like it. M390 is some wicked stuff.

If the mini grip is a 3.5 finger knife for me, would the 586 make it four? I hope so. Better steel, better handle and fuller grip are what i'm hoping for.

I don't think you are going to get four fingers on it but it is definitely a fuller grip. Much more robust that the mini-grip.

I have three Mini-Barrages including the 586 and find them slightly short for my XL glove size hands as far as getting a full 4 finger grip. Basically it all depends on your hand size which is highly variable from person to person.

It came in today and aside from getting used to the assist I am quite amazed by this knife. Solid as a rock and just the right size. Also the sharpest benchmade out of the box for me so far.
