I can't believe it has been almost 5 years and 5000 posts since I joined Bladeforums! I wandered into the traditional forum a few years back and a latent knife tinkering love was awakened
I started simple but now, with all of you to blame, I am buying broken knives and attempting to fix them up. For this milestone, I want to give away 2 of those projects:

The black knife started life as a Commander USA two blade jack with a broken pen blade. I turned it into a single blade jack with micarta covers. Fit and finish it not perfect, but I nailed the walk and talk
It is unsharpened.
The green knife was an Elo pen knife made in Germany. The covers are g10 and this one is the same- finish is not perfect but great action on the blades. This one is sharpened and I have carried it a few times.

This giveaway is simple- just say you are in. No qualifications needed, everyone is welcome to enter!
The winner will get both knives, one to keep and one for a friend. (Or two to keep
)
Thanks to traumkommode, there is now a second place prize- an Opinel 6!!

My daughter will draw the names out of a hat tomorrow (1/29) to determine the winners!!
Good luck, and thanks for giving me a great place to hang out!
