They're both used,but in good shape.

Very generous of you! I used the main blade on my Case Bermuda green swayback jack (one of my EDC's) to trim a hangnail that my fiancee had yesterday. It's also my go-to buddy when it comes to opening that oh-so-dreaded blister packaging. :D

About ten years ago my wife took my daughter to the local old-fashioned hardware store (where I once worked) to pick out a gift for my birthday. My daughter picked out the Case CV medium stockman pictured below. Smart girl!I carry it often and it's my favorite Case.

Only case i own. first knife my dad bought me. and it's still in the edc rotation, though i'd love a replacement cause i'm terrified of losing this old bugging. one of these.

When I was young , maybe ten- My Grandpa Ferdi found a Case Sodbuster while walking in Roeding Park.
I remember him showing it to me and I also remember thinking it looked cool but wondering why it didnt have a lock like my cousin's Buck knife did ( 110 ).

Anyways a few years later he wound up giving it to me , I can easily picture it's black handle and big brass pivot in my mind even though it is long since lost.

The two knives I miss the most are that Sodbuster my Grandpa gave me and the C.G. knife my Dad gave me , that one was stolen though...

One of my favorite Case knives was/is the first Damascus blade I ever bought, a 51251/2 D mad in the '79 I believe using a 512 layer Damascus pattern made for Parker and used by a lot of mnfgs in the late '70s.

It was a small Coke Bottle pattern with warm burnt Stag Scales, this sucker takes and holds a wicked edge.

This is a Case Curly Maple stockman. From 1986-87 or so. My mother gave this to my dad for their anniversary and then I was born and he gave it to me for my 11th birthday. Great knife, the steel gets super sharp easy. I try not to use it too much unless its a special function. Just because of what it mans to me.

My very first knife was a little case FRN lockback. I think I still have it although it's been awhile since I have seen it. It was given to me by a family friend when I was 8 or so.
 
I bought my first Case this year from and elderly, bearded man in overalls in a small town in the South this year. He kept chickens and pigs and sold knives and musical instruments from a small shop on his farm.

I would post a story about my "case" problem is...I don't own one:eek:

I know I know the shock of it all....LOL

I would however like a chance at winning it if possible :D

Fact is my son will be learning about knives and knife saftey this year in scouts and I think this knife would be just right for him to learn on :thumbup:

My 1st Case was a Sharktooth lockback. Must of gotten it in the late 1980's. I really can't remember what happened to it, I guess I traded or gave it away. I bought it cause I liked it better than the Buck 110 and the Schrade LB7.
 
When it's time to do some serious cutting, nothing beats wading into it with a Case sodbuster in each hand. :D

I have an old case fixed blade hunter that I've used for well over 30 years now. My son has taken an interest and the knife too:thumbup:!
 
I have a new Case Camp knife, my son has a Camillus. He likes my Case, as it's a little bigger in the hand. We trade off occasionally, using the various tools for odd jobs.

Last weekend he used the awl to punch holes in a plastic garbage bag, to make a parachute. :thumbup:

My coolest knives - mostly my Case knives - keep ending up in his drawer. :rolleyes:

I own more case knives than any other brand, but my favorite would be a Red stockman that my grandfather gave me. Its from the early 70's and still looks brand new.
