I was wondering if anybody could tell me anything about the 5ot pattern. Mine has green scales and carbon steel blade. Was curious as to when it was discontinued when they started using schrade+ and were the scales always green? Also how many different patterns should the Old Timer collecter expect to find. Thanks.

Your 5OT is called a 5OTG (G is for the Green?) was 1st produced 1991 and dropped in 2002. It replaced the 5OT which has the brown Delrin handles which stopped being produced in 1998. I count at least 59 OT knives that have been produced with a couple more I know of that were not in the catalogs.
