We are about 110 miles south of the center and my wife and I rode it out for a solid 20 seconds. More of a rolling motion.
Anyone else local feel it? It was felt as far as Nevada and Arizona I understand. I counted 170 aftershocks since the main event on earthquake alert app.

I'm in San Diego. Didn't feel it.

7.1 just hit Ridgecrest at 8:19 PST tonight.
Felt it pretty good.

I felt it in Las Vegas tonight, hope everyone is safe.

Unusual that a second larger quake hit in the same area. It appears to be along the same fault line. Actual ground displacement occurred on both the 6.4 and 7.1 as I understand it. This is a fairly remote area and not developed with a lot of buildings.

I googled a map of Ridgcrest after the first quake to get an idea where it was centered. Google maps at the time didn't even show a map of Ridgecrest.

It knocked a few things off shelves and toppled my floor standing drill press twice. The worst part was the power being off after the first one since it's 100 degrees outside. I have never experience so many small aftershocks, I can feel it shaking as I type now. Shakes a little every 5 minutes or so. The emergency services response and media coverage seem pretty overblown to me as life is continuing normally here in Ridgecrest.

I've been to Trona and the pinnacles. Very remote area. Switchblade heaven out there :-)

Been seeing footage of the Earthquakes, hope every one affected has escaped without to much damage, and your families are all safe. Please take care all those affected.

Still many aftershocks although I really have not felt them being about 115 miles away.
