Hi everyone,

I'm new to knives and Blade forums, started out last week watching reviews on Benchmade and Spyder Co-- went down a rabbit hole and narrowed down between a William Henry Monarch Titan B05 or Chris Reeve Sebenza 31 small. I figured get the WH since they are exclusive and eventually pick up the CRK down the road, in the case that doesn't happen, which one should I go for? Are there any other boutique knife makers that fit this category? budget is around $500, also not really interested with exotic inlays :) thanks!

I had a William Henry Monarch, not the Titan, and found it a very comfortable useable knife. I never have learned to handle and use CRK knife to where I was comfortable with it. I would go with the William Henry. If you do, be forewarned, the pocket clip on the leather pocket slip is NOT strong enough. I lost mine getting out of my pick-up truck one day. That still hurts. Good luck with your search.

Had both brands...WH is nice but only for show/dinner guests IMO.
Owned perhaps 30+ when collected CRKs over the yrs; the "smalls" look prettiest with wood inlays, but my hand cannot hold onto one when closing the blade. So, I always reco the large 21's and that is primarily what I've carried and owned...and still own. I prefer just plain Ti slabs for carry...

Oof! Sorry to hear about losing the WH :( thanks for the heads up on the pocket clip. Which action did you find more enjoyable/addicting between the two?
