So after buying a SR M6, SY S6, Basic 6, Boss Jack, skinny ash, SJTAC, Sarsquatch, and 2 SAR 6's I have finally found the one!! The SAR 6 is just kick a$$!!!!!! This is the knife I truly couldn't live with out!!!! I had to buy a second one it's that nice but it has blue G-10 so I will send it to Garth tomorrow for micarta handles. Really don't like the blue but these don't pop up for sale to often and figured I better grab it. My other one is a LE tiger hide that was sold to me by fluxx who was very nice to let it go to me. A true Hog. Any way my grail is home!!!!!

Lol!!! Sorry just really excited. Had the LE for a few months and really haven't had much time with it till the last few weeks. Here's to every hog getting there grail knife!!!

I was all prepared to offer my advice on your off topic 6 incher..... maybe try some of those pills or perhaps a vacuum pump... But I see that it is indeed an ON TOPIC discussion about knives. Carry on.

Of the knives you have , what runs second best? I ask because you listed a whos- who of 6 inch blades.

Cool. I got package deal on a Ratweiler and a skinny ash and both will be here the end of the week. I have my 6 inch filled so if I dont like the Ash I will put her on the exchange. If I like it Ill keep it.

Yep, SAR6 then Skinny ASH for the win in the 6 inchers.

These types of epic innuendo opportunities don't come along often... but we won't take advantage! :D

Glad you're stoked about the knife :)

They come along about every 5 min for me, but perhaps that's just how my mind works.

On topic - I have both the SAR6 and the Skinny ASH, and would agree with the above. Both are very capable and reliable, but YMMV depending on whether you're more into bringing it down hard on wood, or precision thrusting. I've been meaning to let one of them go as I have amassed other blades - SARGE, TGLB, etc - but never been able to do it. However, I do need to thin that edge out on the Skinny (and probably shouldn't mention another man's 6"-er, but I'm also partial to my Koster MUCK in 3V as an all-rounder).

i have never felt a .32 ash, i hear they are nice. the skinny also feel's good in hand. a friend of mine was over and we were doing show and tell. he grabbed this one and said, "man you couldn't pull this outta my hand with a crane". he was talking about how well it gripped in hand.
