I got a rather large order for 6 different knives. It was fun doing it, and a nice break from spectacle knives that have been taking up so much time lately.

All of them are 1095.

They are all shot with my nice little Ruger Mark II. I love that gun, it is great for plinking.

I really like the swell on the rear of the handles. I prefer guardless knives, puts your index finger nice and close to the cutting edge. Great work as usual! :)

I have come to love the swell at the end also. I use it on all my knives now. It really plants the knife in my hand. It is a result of a lot of different handle shapes. I also prefer guardless knives, especially with micarta.

p.s. thanks for the comments

No, the one at the bottom of picture #4 has the same file pattern as the spectacle knife, and the other one in picture #5

That handle on the first one is ideal. Love the wasping and swelling at just the right places in the handle. I find this handle style very comfortable for utility knives as well as short swords. Also like that the finger choil point isn't too pronounced. I find the point digs into the hand if its used as a draw knife. Very nice work all around.

All these 6 knives look much better in person than in the photos. All the handles feel super comfertable and they have a great flat dull grey "using finish." Great work, Matt!

Wait a minute! Is one person getting ALL of those!?!

That person must be pretty damn lucky!

I'm lovin' that simple necker!
