6 Limited Edition knives released 8/7/2025

im not paying these prices...cool stuff, but no it's custom knife making prices......

like a handful of them and congrats to those who grab them, but I loved Buck for high quality with value. the value has been being chiseled away at for a long time now.

If it was 420, I would have passed for sure, but I haven't seen Buck put out a BG42 blade like that in over a decade easy! Kind of wish I wasn't taking a water break right when the text came through, but I tell myself it happened for a reason.
 
I've been trying to talk myself into buying Buck knives for several years. I've bought 4, all secondhand and none of them standard models. Very cool knives in all of these limited drops, but I'm just not seeing the value when considering the pricing. The company is losing my interest and that makes me sad to admit.

I love a couple of these but won't be buying any...agree 100% with the pricing being out of line with the value for me.

I'm not an fan of planned/manufactured scarcity to drive prices up, though it is clearly effective and I dont blame Buck if they can find buyers. It's tough for an American manufacturer to be profitable, and if this helps pay the bills, I'm happy for them. These runs are hopefully fun for the craftsmen/women but it must be a real pain managing their manufacturing with such a large product mix.
 
I had a package finally delivered by USPS today that the tracking showed it went to 4 different Post Offices before it got to mine, and then they even sent it back to distribution rather than deliver it.

I can't imagine watching the tracking for a $1500 item.

I threw down for the 124 Frontiersman, 5160. I've looked at it for a while and really liked the look on this one in particular, with different blade steel it was enough for me to bite. Even at this price it's still cheaper than a lot of folders.

I've been looking at Buck more often lately. I think I'm over alot of current "flavors" that are (have been) on the market...
 
An easy pass for me. Nothing that I was interested in, so didn’t feel the need to crack open the wallet.
 
Lol, I ping-ponged pretty hard on the 904. 1, I never knew Buck made a fantasy sub-hilt, and 2, I don't believe I'd heard of that steel. So, it was maybe 30 minutes from the time the email hit my inbox 'til I clicked the link.
