Well I've had my Benchmade 710 HSSR with its M2 blade for 6 months now it was my first Benchmade knife, and I couldn't be more happy with it so far, the BT2 coating is still all intact, I use it pretty much every day, I haven't had to tighten any of the screws yet, opening action is still solid and smooth. The most important thing of all, the blade is still sharp! The paint on the clip has worn off quite a bit but no biggie, this is one great knife, I'm so happy with my purchase, Benchmade makes a great product.
I wonder how the new 710 with the D2 blade compares to the M2, I probably won't ever find out, I can tell this knife will last me a long time.
