So believe it or not, this is the very first damascus knife I have ever made! This one is for my dad, using some damascus he picked up at the gathering last year. The Steel is Chad Nichols Boomarang san mai XHP core. The handle has black black sting ray and hammered Zirc menuki. It is double ground and comes to a needle point. The blade is 6" long and would make a wicked edc. The sheath is a Hartsfield style wrapped in some very nice sharkskin. I have one more from the same billet to finish up, it should be just a slick.

Let me know your thoughts!

Looks great Ben, you are really hitting your stride!

Hafta say I really like what Chad did with that pattern.

Great work Ben. I really like the clean lines on this one. The proportions look good, and the blade has a pleasant taper. And, as you noted, that tip looks wicked-pointy.
The Damascus fits well with the look of the knife, and adds to the overall package. Nice choice.
Looks like you've been dialing-in your photo skills as well.

that's super hot.

That is beautiful in its simplicity!! Love the damascus and the contrast of the ray skin on the sharkskin! Very classy knife!
