If you for some unseen reason you had to limit your knife collection to six fixed blades and a half dozen folders, what would you want them to be? (not including axes, machetes, kitchen knives and chisels and such) I'd choose the following:

Enzo trapper
ESEE 6
ESEE 4
Becker BK-9
Mora classic #2
Cold Steel Master Hunter

And for he folders:

Opinel #8
Cold Steel Mini-Recon 1 tanto

Interesting thread. I'll play. Also I will assume you want to exclude MTs. These are all knives I use. I am picking them from my collection to fit specific roles though some will no doubt overlap. Oh, and pics for fun.

Yes, correct. If so I would replace one of my folders with a wave. Don't know which one though. The list was hard enough as it is. Took me about half an hour looking at my different knives!
