I AM NOT SELLING THIS
I want to buy a Spyderco Manix 2 Blue Transcluent handle
I see a website has the knife for 60$ is that a good deal

If its a real one and brand new then yea its a pretty good deal. From what I've seen they go for around $80 shipped brand new unused. give or take a few bucks.
I could see that being a reasonable price for a used one though depending on the condition.

I don't see them listed as a bf dealer, but if you found it at the same shoppe I found it, worry not. That is where I bought my Southard, and they always have good prices on Spyderco. I wish I liked the Manix, because I would jump on that one, but when I handled one of the lightweight ones at Grand Prairie Knives, I just didn't like the feel of it.

I know the place. Its my go to for Spydercos. One thing though, you may want to email them and ask if its the newer batch with a torx screw on the pivot.

I avoid partially serrated blades (and I think that explains the low price you found: serrations), hard to sharpen, so if it was me I would kick in the extra $14 for the plain edged version.

^^ I see the Plain Edge for the exact same price.

So I say add the Plain Edge one to your cart and click "Check Out".
Lol.

Finally found it, plain edge. And, "nutnfancy" still works!

BC777 THX, your email off...

Pics of the pinned pivot on my C101PBL2 Manix 2 (note that all fasteners are pinned on this knife with the one exception of the wire pocket clip which is attached by screw) one of the costs of being an early adopter...:

AFAIK it is the new Black version of this Manix 2 (C101PBK2) that have the adjustable pivot pin.

Maybe the XL more better...so what website? $60 shipped is good deal...fleabag have some for $67

I just got one of these and it is sweet little knife. After looking through it in front of some different lights, and having all kinds of fun, I noticed that it is actually a solid knife for its weight. Smooth opener, great slicer, one of the lightest knives I own. I had forgotten that I was carrying it at some points as it is so light and very comfortable.
Cheers

Mine is pinned, Im totally ok with it but if I was in the market for one and there are torx screw'd pivot available hey why not right?

Oregon, I was told by a forum member that newer blue ones have torx pivots. So, Im basing it off of that.
