600 grit Diamond rod for 3V?

I have a Dan Koster/Tom Krein k9 Dingo in 3V I have never sharpened. Has not needed it I guess. But would a Lanksy diamond rod 600 grit do the trick to touch up the edge?

I usually finish with 600, so if it’s still in good condition it will work. If it’s somewhat dull I’d start with something around the 325.

600 grit diamond leaves a great working edge on 3V. Like AusLoX - 600 grit is where I keep my users. The Dingo will be fine with that stone.

It will take a lot to remove nicks but that is a perfect finishing grit for tune ups.
