s-l1600.jpg What are the spacers of a 61-67 102 made of? I think it's ether Leather or Brown Micarta?

That looks like fiber (corrected by Haebbie). The leather ones usually swell a bit around the edges and look a bit rougher and thicker as a general rule. Especially in the area at the bottom of the guard where the spacer
transitions from the phenolic handle to the metal spacer.

Sassafrass... the spacers of your knife are clearly FIBER and Herbert oopsied in his picture label, the two left knives are both FIBER. MICARTA does not come along until 1969, during the 2-line period. /Roger

Ok, Roger, I'm sorry if I am wrong. I was sure the left knife has micarta spacers. I'll dig it out tomorrow and have a look. But the question of the TO is correctly answered. His knife has fiber spacers.

It is hard to see. I've to dig out a magnifier.
I think it is possible that there is an overlap between the last one line and the first two line stamp concerning to the material of the spacers.
