Well, I have made some changes to my winter kit...and added some cool gear...first off, I got into a new Kelly Kettle with cook top...look for some future reviews..looks good sofar.
Next...my sleeping bag..I went and got a -40F military bivy bag..its pretty cool..although very bulky.
And finally...I needed more room, so I went out and got into new back pack...the SnugPak Bergen.
I liked my Sleeka, so I thought "what the heck".
Here it is next to my Camelback, and my Sleeka...HUGE is the word that comes to mind.

I havnt used it yet, but that will be soon. Look for the revue.

A question on the SnugPak...or should I say SNUGPAK :D
Does it have a hip belt or a " waist" belt ?
In other words, if you toss 60 lbs in it can you transfer ALL of the weight to your hips ?

Sorry, yes, it has an interal frame, waist belt, and chest harness...with alot of good padding and air channels. Overall, around the house..it feels a heck of alot better than what I am used to. But without any mile with it, I dont know for sure.
