I am possibly getting a 635 Mini Skirmish. I am primarily a fixed blade user (Busse) so am not familiar with that many folders. Does anyone have a pic of the frame lock on this knife? I heard it was beefy, which I prefer. I have found tons of profile pictures but nothing on the lock yet. Any help would be great. Thanks guys. :)

I love this knife and carry it the most.:thumbup::thumbup:

Nice knife. Titanium handles=yum. Only thing i wish it had was a thumb stud. That's just me though.

I also keep looking at that knife.

I like everything about it - a lot - except for that dipsy-doodle design thing that Blackwood put on the handle.

How thick is the frame lock as compared to a Hinderer XM-18 or CR Sabenza?

I hear it's pretty beefy either way.

Thanks for the pics and responses guys. :)

That's one of the Benchmades that really has me intrigued. I really like everything about it from what I see. I think the blade/handle ratio is what I like the most. It appears they crammed as much blade as possible and I wish more knives were designed like that.

The frame lock on the 635 is right about 3mm thick; the frame lock on my small Sebenza is about 3.5mm thick. I can see that the small Sebenza frame is a little thicker.

It's a quality folder for sure. I personally didn't like mine because I didn't like the blade to handle length ratio and the opening hole. The way the hole is cut made it difficult for me to open. The quality was great though.
