Having an interesting journey back into carrying traditionals and have had some …. hiccups.

Picked up a Yellow Delrin 13 Pattern Case and along with some blade rub, it has the California Clip I expected.

Also picked up a 6813 in Med Blue because I liked the color. However, it has what I consider a much more common Clip blade that is certainly not the same as the other. The nick is further back and it has the more standard profile.

Is this common? Or certain runs? Just curious.

Do you mean xx18?
The clip blade is almost always a California clip. I have one with a regular clip, and I haven't seen another in real life. Not sure about here.

Be seeing you. 👌

I have a few of the sloping clip. The regular clip was one reason I bought the red one:

Aside from a few older 6318 Med Stockman Case Knives made before bone colors were marketed, the only time you see a Clip main on a modern 6318 is on the red Pocketworn. I have seen them intermittently on some random PW of other colors. I'd guess 95% of all other modern 18 patterns have the Turkish Clip main blade. OH

This makes sense as the one I have with the more standard clip is a blue pocket worn. Thanks.
