Here is a roughly grinded chopper made out of Stellite 6K (swedge is still not grinded in though). The blade design is from me and the handle is taken from the Ripley model of danish knifemaker Jesper Voxnaes with his permission, just added a few details to it. It will be a one of.

The Overall lenght is 14" and 2" wide, blade beeing 8.6" full flat grind and 0.300 thick.

The poor hand you see is belonging to Brad Fairall, who is making this knife for me.
First picture is showing the design how i drawed it up.
And he did an fantastic job as you can see in the pictures. workmanship is outstanding.

Wow, he did a fantastic job indeed. That is a gorgeous blade, both of you.

i just read up on stellite. So what building are you planning on chopping down? :D

Looks great so far. Hopefully there the maker will break the edges a bit on that guard/ finger choil. I really like the design. Be sure to post more pics with progress.
