That M43 is gorgeous! Wish I had that 145 kicking around. Somebody's gonna be happy this Christmas.

It's the world's biggest Jange! 51 ounces!

Whoever buys this one, you've got to post a field report. You could probably chop down a telephone pole with that.

That m43 is beautiful! A cult favorite that has proved it's worth in my book. Put it this way, the YCS may have cut the cake on my wedding day, but the M43 chopped the wood for the campfire the night before.
That is an EXCELLENT price for a WWII! Anyone here that needs THE all around blade, check this one out. A favorite of both Uncle Bill and Rusty. 'nuff said.

Geez! That's just too heavy for me. A standard one at 20" and 32 oz. is a handful! Maybe it's a typo...? If it's true, it would be one hell of a chopper once you got it going.

My 20"/28 ounces Jange is just right. 22.5"/51 ounces would kill me...but I'd die with a smile on my face.

Jange Bells, Jange Bells, Jange all the way ......

Couldn't resist :D

Hey MB,,

Glad to see you getting in on the action:thumbup:
I've looked at the DOTD almost every day for a year, waiting for the right combination of knife, price, and $$ in my pocket to buy my first HI. Today, I'm celebrating a promotion, so I'm hoping this one is still available. Of course, since I think it was finally meant to be, it'll be waiting for me!

Edit to add:
Already got my email from Yangdu and sent the paypal! WooHoo!

Well, someone with a strong wrist snapped up that Jange! At 24.5" and 45 oz. the GRS I got a couple of weeks ago is heavy enough, and for that matter I have a 48 oz. FF that I can't imagine being any heavier. However the handle on this will be better for heavy chopping than the smooth antler on the GRS.

Please let us know how it handles (after you get your rotator cuff repaired! :D )

Cool karda and chakma handles on that one as well. First time I have seen metal ones...

Boys, sometimes it's the little knives that are the best value.

9 inch 5 ounce Sgt. Khadka special Knife. Walnut wood handle. $25 delivered.

That's $25 Delivered! or only $2.78 per inch! I know the scabbard isn't very practical, but what a great little kitchen knife! And it looks like it's got a buttcap.

What a great way to keep your HIKV at bay and not spend much money.
