6" utility blade hand forged out of W-2. Overall 11 1/4". Northwestern curly maple handle and wrought iron fittings.

That is a nice looking knife. It looks like it would very comfy in the hand.
 
Now, marry that blade with the lines, handle and fittings of Curly and I'd get in line to take it off your hands! :thumbup: :D Really like THAT blade!

And I hear ya on the sheaths.. Some guys enjoy making them and others find it a chore. However, I do enjoy a package of both knife and sheath from the same guy, as to me, it's "the total package"... Somehow it just seems to be nicer when they are both done by the maker - as the maker seems to know what the knife's use is going to be and designs the sheath accordingly...

Joe, I ended up making two sheaths for this knife. First one was a burnt offering. I won't mention anymore details than that. Looking forward to meeting you in Eugene!
