7" Chef knife in AEBL

I just finished this one up, AEBL heat treated by me with cryo to HRC61
.125" stock ground to .008" before sharpening, should be a strong slicer
Arizona desert ironwood handle scales and stainless pins

That is a FINE looking knife, and the ironwood is stunning. May I ask what you used to finish the handle?

thanks! I sanded the ironwood to 2500 then polished with green rouge. it needs no finish

Thank you for the explanation. I never would have considered NO finish on a kitchen knife.
