Here are a bunch of new knives -- well new to me but some have been posted before with different photos as others have pre-owned some but the Rodrigo Sfreedo is totally new and only a few have actually seen it.

This is a nice little Bowie by Kevin Cashen. OAL of 10 1/4" with a 1084 blade of 6 3/4". The fittings are O1/L1 damascus with Kingwood handle

Next is what Tommy Gann calls his Cowboy Bowie

OAL 11 1/4" with 52100 7" blade with fileworked frame handle of Ironwood

This Ron Newton/John Fitch is a reworked piece with new handle previously owned by another forumite

OAL 10 3/4" with O1/15N20 Filicietti pattern blade, damascus fittings and stag handle with N/S sheath

By, Burt Foster, this desk knife has a 3 3/4' O1 blade California Buckeye Burl handle integral OAL 7 1/2". this one stands on a Burt Foster made maple stand and is a nice addition to my wife's collection.

A recent trade brought this Jay Hendrickson Damascus 1084/15N20 Hunter blade 5 5/8" and OAL of 10 3/8 and leather covered wood sheath. Nicely filed N/S guard with Maple handle carved and inlayed with silver wire.

Just received a few days ago via Paul Long and his fine sheath work is this Jerry Fisk Sendero Dogstar with Big Horn Sheep scales. OAL of 8 1/2" and the blade is4 3/16". I do have to find out the mixture of the damascus in both this one and the next knife which is by Rodrigo Sfreedo.

Now for the new piece by Rodrigo Sfreedo. This is a Price Style Dagger. I have another Price pattern on order from RS also but this one is a ladder pattern damascus blade 7 1/16" integral with Mammoth scales and containing a total of 90 silver pins in the scales. The sheath is typical of Rodrigo's work with the damascus frog and fine leather work.

The year has been very good with a total of 36 new knives but one was traded so the final tally for 2007 is 35. I don't think I'll be threatening that total in 2008 though.

Now THAT'S what I call a great year! Awesome assembly of fine bladeware.

Those are all gorgeous. The Sfreedo dagger is awesome and I love that Burt Foster Integral.

Very nice Murray, especially the Sfreddo. It's outstanding.
I must admit however, I really miss not seeing his old style bowies. :(
Seems he is building about all integrals these days.

yeap, a lot of wonderful knives.........but I gotta say I like the second one and the fourth one the best!

Scintillating all, but the Foster is my choice. Foster is to integrals what Loveless is to drop points. If I couldn't work a deal with my wife, I'd make her sleep on the sofa until she relented.

yup Paul, got all of those since I was at your place in mid Sept.
It is great to see the interest in many different ones of the knives. All the 2007 knives can be seen at

http://phymurphotos.fototime.com and scroll to 2007 knives or just go to the main collection to see all knives.

Very nice, Murray! Thanks for sharing these via your fine photography.
