Now would you look at this! It's called the Bura Bhajra and it's about as good as any short sword you'll see. She weighs in at 27 ounces and is 19 inches overall length. The blade excellently done as you might be able to see is also excellently engraved with 4 auspicious signs from Buddhist religious art. The handle, beautiful chandan, is excellently carved by, I'm sure, the Newari Carving Man. And, I believe the engraving was done by Bura's oldest son. Looks like he has improved considerably since I was him work in 2000. I'm not sure about the motif on the handle -- I think it's a rendition of Black Bhairab -- but I just ain't sure. In case you want this baby it's $245 and probably worth twice that much. UBBB++++++++++++++

I am not asleep!
I am very excited to see this, it is amazing.
However, I got a MANJUSHREE yesterday and I am still very excited about that one!
I like every piece in here.
If I hadnt scored an antler kerambit and a manjushree this week alone, I'd be all over these babies.
Those hanshees are really starting to look more like hanshees to me.
If the handle was one inch longer and curvier it would be perfect.
I WOULD have bought the sarge if I could have. At the moment I am waiting to get an antler handled JKM, if one shows up and I am early enough...
That will be my last shark-snack for a while....

I am dreaming about that manjushree. I always wanted one of those. In fact, I asked Uncle Bill and Yangdu to sign the scabbard!
That's how much I like the manjushree!
I will do my best to show it off in the DVD.

Congrats on a nice looking knife and your speed! If Yangdu's got another one hidden I'll be happy, if not then it's that many less beans I gotta live off of for the next month. win-win situation, eh? :D
