7 Step program to wean you off your knife addiction.

1. Admit you have a problem, the first step is always recognizing a problem, denial is the mask we hold in front of our problems.

2. Pack all your knives into a Priority Mail envelope and send it to me, ya see I don’t have a problem, and that’s not denial.

3. Remove yourself from all knife related forums, BBS’s, and magazine subscriptions.

4. Disassociate your self from all knife people, this includes dealers, collectors, makers, the only exception is keep in contact with me, just in case ya need ta get rid of any other knife contraband, remember I don’t have a problem, you do.

5. When ya feel that moment of weakness start to overcome you, give in and buy that knife, than see #2, buying expensive knives is Gods way of telling you, that you have too much disposable income.

6. Stay away from all Knife Shows, this includes local and nationwide.

7. And finally, as a show of inner strength take your last bit of disposable income, and buy as many knives as you can, than ship them directly to me, remember I’m only trying to help the person with the problem, and that’s you.

It's not a habit, it's cool, I feel alive, I'm not an addict (maybe that's a lie)!

Hey, you forgot the most effective step...tell your spouse/mate how much your knives cost...that'll cure you in a flash!

Sorry, but this is probably one addiction that I intend to keep ;)

ROTFLMAO:D @ RL's post! That'll definately cure a man's knife buying habit! Maybe even that habit of sucking wind too!:D

T. Erdelyi,
So sorry my friend.
This is the addiction I intend to keep.
I've already given up high cholesterol foods, alcohol, smoking, other women, drugs and Rock'n'Roll.:(
Oh yeah, I gave up collecting guns too.

It kept draining my knife acquisition budget.:p
