I noticed the kumar karda from the 5th had a slight angle to it. Yet the one above has a straight blade. I've also seen through image searches the straight blade. Is the angle more of a blem or through design of the karda? Just curious..

If that JKM-1 popped a few days ago I would have jumped on it. It looks like an easy carry.

Got the Karda. Excellent work: great blade and SICK handle! Prelimenary tests on heavy cardboard shows solid tempering on edge. This is a gift for my woman's sister, so I'll polish it back up. The handle is, in a word, superb. The carving is rustic precision, if that makes any sense; a machine didn't do it but it's expertly done with great artistic appeal. Beautiful work, and thank you Yandgu.
