705/710 - little/big brothers

Just received a 710 that has been on my want list for a long time. One thing I wasn't aware of all this time is that the 705 has the same handle design as the 710 along with a similar blade design. The new 710 is a keeper for sure for me - everyone's recommendation was right on about this knife!

I have two very old 705s and they are going nowhere. I love 'em, better than the 707, although the best of both worlds might be a 707 blade in a 705 chassis. :thumbup:
 
Great pictures. I carried an ATS-34 705 daily for a few years. Great knife...
Knowing that the 710 was the big brother, and with all the love for the 710, I had to check one out. When I picked it up the first time, I knew it wasn't for me.
Wasn't feeling it, which is weird because I have not heard of many that had the same feeling. That was probably 7 years ago, so maybe I need to give it another look.
 
710 = I love it. The 707 is a sweet smaller knife. I have never handled a 705.

I'd really like a 710 with an updated handle similar to tbe 707 handle design.
 
My preference is the reverse - I never liked the 707 handles, but I like the 710 and 705 handles a lot. Different strokes. ;)

I too enjoy full size and mini versions.
I have them in Ritters, Presidios and 710/707.
Here's my 710 & 707, both in M390.

 
I wish I had a 705. I guess I'll have to try the 707. In the meantime, here's the big brother with new canvas micarta scales.

Beautiful! I'm assuming those are Keyman scales? I want to order a pair for my 710, but don't know if I want to break up the looks of the pair. Plus I need to recover from the 710 purchase first. But I know I will eventually do it. I have scales from Keyman for my Grip and just love them!
