707uh

I just loked on ebay, and one knife had a OT handle, but the blade was 707UH. I don't know a lot about folders, but, were UH blades used in OT knives?

As we often write here, 'anything is possible with Schrade'. A blade that is unexpected in a certain handle can be attributed to a bleary-eyed monday morning worker, a factory replaced blade, an honest mistake, or just using what was on hand to fill out an order.

It is a cool knife... Called the 'Gambler'. Was a short-lived production, from 1991 to 1994 according to Robert Clemente's book. I have the sawcut-delrin OTversion, the 106OT 'Grandad'. Has two blades plus scissor. Nice looking knife.

A wood handled one? I haven't seen one, but sounds like a Ducks Unlimited issue. But looking on ebay a while ago, I found this one:

Here is what I think you were watching on ebay:

Seems like this has the Copenhagen green handles. But note the seller mentions some XXX on the tang. A sure sign of a factory second. Could have been salvaged by an employee and rehandled. Who knows.

I do note that this relatively rare Schade has nose dived in dollar value over the past year. I sold one months ago for $90 Mint in the box. Unreal.

ps.. sorry reply to your question is so late.
