So my very first Becker was a BK9, which I got off the exchange and it was minus a sheath. After keeping it in a crude cardboard wrap for too long, I felt it unworthy of such mean estate; doubly true ever since I got my beautiful Tommythewho ironwood scales for it.

So, after shopping around I finally decided on The 710 Custom Sheaths as the source of my BK9's new home; After hand-choosing all the options I could ever want (too many it started to overwhelm me and I had to take a couple days to process what I really was looking for in a sheath), I paid for it on the 12th. After what seemed like a relatively short wait for a fully customized sheath, I got a shipping notice on the 28th and just got it in the mail today.

Wow is all I can say; the Kryptek Highlander color I chose is both brilliantly complex and yet very subtle, it goes very well with the colors of the woods around the PNW, and also goes flawlessly with the ironwood scales on my BK9. The finish is fantastic: very smooth, straight seams with flawless riveting; the feel of the outside is refreshingly smooth with just a hint of texture, giving it a feel that wouldn't irritate the skin on prolonged contact. The leatherwork is very well done, rigidly secure to the sheath and the perfect snaps on the dangler to make it easy to take off the belt while feeling very secure when riding on it. Finally, the knife fits perfectly into the sheath. The retention is very solid while the knife can be removed without too much struggle; every piece of the sheath is fitted perfectly to the knife for the right amount of security while not getting in the way of removal.

I can say this is the best sheath I've ever owned, I have nothing but praise for The 710 and the magnificent work he did on this sheath. Now for my crappy pictures (they don't do it justice)

Wowser!

Kryptek Highlander? I've not seen that before.

One of the reasons I picked it was I hadn't seen it yet, the other being the colors match my states' woods better than the jungle Kryptek.

Nice!
I like it.
Danglers are nice on the larger blades in my opinion.
Looks like JD hit another homerun!
Congrats man. She's a beauty!

Julio does do some nice work......... Congrats...

The credit really goes towards your designs, you left it open to easy customization which grew a whole group of folks making fantastic add-ons to your knives to make them personal while keeping their essence fully intact. I can't say how much I love my BK9, before I customized it I still considered it my favorite knife to date, now I can't stop fondling it every day just itching to get out in the woods to use it some more. Julio's sheath and Tommy's scales are just the fantastic finishing touches to an already great knife.

An A+ design, for sure, with A+ add-ons, all made by A+ people. I couldn't be happier. :)

I like it! same pattern that's on my Kryptek hat, although its a different color scheme. I'm guessing Kryptek is the pattern and highlander is the color scheme? Pretty sure I'm actually right, for once. meh, probably not.

Yep, very right. Highlander is the color scheme, it's more subdued browns and greens than the other Kryptek schemes, which I think fits the PNW woods better than the vivid brown/green of the Mandrake scheme.

Speaking of Kryptek, is there any official use for their camo designs? Or is it just hunters and such?

I dunno, I've seen some tactical clothing in Kryptek camo schemes, like Vertx.
