UPDATE
Did some cutting test and slicing tests.
I sharpened the 710HS, Delica, and Griptilian to super scary amazing dangerous sharp with the UF 204 Stones. I spent 1 hour on each knife. You can pop hairs and slice paper in the air.
Test 1.
Slicing (rubber grips)
I had a bunch of Beretta hard rubber grips that i needed to resize. They are hard rubber. The grips rubber gets sticky and dirty. The test was too slice really thin pieces so i can thin the grips. The Delica and 710 performed best because of the thin blade. The griptilian was very hard to use. I resized 10 grips in total.
The Delica got really dull after 3 grips. It could not slice the rubber, it was scraping the rubber. It made the edge very dull, i could rub my thumb accross the blade. It could no longer shave hairs or slice paper. The griptilian was very hard to handle, i gave up after 1 grip. The 6 remaining grips i used the 710hs. The thing that was amazing was that the sticky rubber did not effect the blade. It could cut 5 grips easily, the last one i managed resizing with scraping. The blade could not shave buit could slice paper.
Test 2
Cutting (long hard strikes)
Slicing speaker wires. I work at a electronics store. So i got 3 rolls of the thinnest wires. I sharpened the blades back to super scary amazing dangerous sharp again.
The 710 and Griptilian performed alot better than the Delica due to the larger blade. I wrapped the wire in long strands consisting of 10 wires. I then rolled the strand in a tight manner.
The Delica's blade was too short to test. I need to buy a Police or Military.
The Griptilian sliced through 5 strands and the edge was gone. The copper wire really did damage to the 440C. The edge was so bad that i could not slice paper or cut an apple. It took me long time to fix it.
The 710 was amazing. It sliced through the remaining wires i had. 12 strands. The edge was still sharp enough to slice paper. I am impressed.
