We found this in a box of stuff. It looks like it hasn't been sharpened, although it could stand a good wiping down.. Should I put it up and keep it or just put it in rotation with my Buck 301 for daily use?

Will do! My 301 is an older one I think Camillus made and the two knives look like cousins

301 with three blades and a long pull on the clip point = "Camillus made".

I'd wipe it down, lube the joints, strop it (and if necessary introduce it to the trusty oil or waterstone), carry and use it.
