Hey Guys, Long time lurker here and looking for anyones help in this situation. To make a very long story short I recently had a 2014 ganza 711 varient stolen. Life happens I get it, my only problem is I had promissed my son that knife for graduation. He fell in love with it the first time he saw it. I dont want to violate any of the forum rules so this not a want to buy post. Just looking for some advice from busse kin, where one would track a piece like this down? Tried the usual places like Busse for sale, as well as Fleabay, even hit up the Scrapyard to no availe. The piece itself does not have alot of monetary value, more the promise from father to son. Hope you guys might help guide or advise me in the right direction. Thanks you guys rock.
 
Sorry to hear that.
Your best bet is making a signature at the bottom of your profile that says "Want to buy" then that knife.
Aside from that Watch the for sale area here on the forums and unfortunately it may not hurt to go check the bay

Thanks rcb2000. Sounds like that might be a good idea. When I realized it was one of the items stolen I was just ill. Figured it was going to be next to impossible to replace that particular blade but thought it is worth a shot.
 
Also post in the "want to buy" section of the forum, and even make a hyperlink to that post from your signature

I took your advise and posted a link to this in the "the want to buy" section. I am putting alot of hope and faith into all the Busse Kin here and hope that it works out.

If that falls through I may be able to help. I am going to be in the middle of nowhere and out of service until this time next week, though, in case you try to contact me and don't hear back. So don't feel like all is lost, some of us have holdouts. I will check back in on this.

I`m sorry to here about this, spesially as you intended to pass it on to your son. Knife is awesome, newer seen one like that, hope someone of the Hogs can be at your help and things sort out.
 
Sorry I didn't have the variant bud, only the original. You can run a 'WTB-SYKCO 711 Variant' or some such line in your signature line since you're a gold member, that might help. Good luck, I hope it works out.

I am sure one will pop up, but it may take a while... I don't believe there were no more than a dozen (probably half that) at Knob, I wouldn't be surprised if there were only at most a few dozen in the Ganza. Not impossible though, but it will take patience and a WTB thread would help.

I was hoping there were more than a dozen made. Tried following up on one lead here but got no response. Starting to feel that anxiety that you get when waiting for a "Grail" knife. Hats off to the DogPound for making a awesome knife and one starting to seem impossible to find. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me with both help and support. Reminds me why all the Busse family is such a close knit group.

I've got one, its slightly used (chopped a branch once or twice).
I got too many and too many coming, and you have a better reason to own it.
