72 hr BTTT bump not appearing

Just to let you know of a possible E-fart on the site, I bumped a couple threads up on a 72 hour bump but neither are showing up at the top. The last post time and date show the bump but when the sale thread page is reloaded/refreshed, they are absent.
 
If I read that right, there's no more bumping at all? Once a thread is established it slowly gets pushed back with no chance of bringing it back up.

That would certainly slow the process down a lot, threads wont vanish nearly a quickly.
 
So THATS what happened. LOL Just bumped a 3 dayer and its disappeared. Its not the top of the list NOR on page 5 where it was. Its GONE. LOL

The idea you're working on is pretty good. Thats how they do it at Jeepforum.com( a huge site also)

The listings just stay in the order of their posting. Then each listing has a "thread" where people can still discuss the items.

Seems to work and your ads stay up longer.
 
People need to learn to subscribe to any thread they're interested in, then check User CP periodically to see if they have any updates to subscribed threads.

I check my User CP, then New Posts, then the Help section. That keeps me busy. :)

I think (yea, a stretch :p ) this will be better than worrying over the 72 hour rule and all the "stretching of the bump rule" and the subscription thing is a good way to stay current.
 
Esav is so good he infracts in his sleep. :D
