after a few years of daily use the pocket clip on my g10 scaled 722 has loosened to the point that it sometimes falls off my body. the clip and screws are still tight. the actual threaded eyes that are embedded in the g10, seem to have come loose and have considerable "jiggle." I figure if I return it to warranty at Buck Knives Inc. Buck Knives Inc. , they are going to replace the scale and the clip, which Id like to avoid doing. do you all agree? what kind of epoxy could I use to repair this that will work well with g10?

I bought my G-10 Spitfire used and it was missing 6 of the 12 threaded inserts. Fortunately, right hand tip up was still intact and that is my preferred carry. So far, they are staying put, with occasional use. If mine fall out, I would be tempted to send it to Buck for replacement scales and pocket clip inserts. I believe the inserts are press fit and can't be replaced once they wobble out.

I found the G-10 to be too slick, so I dimpled the handles with a soldering iron. It has good traction now, but I might have voided the warranty. Quite possibly one of the ugliest 722s around.
