Welcome to BF. Great knife to start with, I have 6 paras :eek: and carry one at least twice a week.
Sorry to hear about the pivot screw. I'm willing to bet you tightened the side that has the clip on it. Right?
 
It's definitely a keeper. Wait until you want to try a Military. Those are even more fun to carry around. ;)
 
Call Spyderco to see if you evebn get charged. If this was a NIB from a dealer you may get free screws . . . It's possible . . .
