I was over at Benchmade.com earlier and noticed this new model based on a Shane Sibert design. Well, I assume its new, havent seen it before myself.

Anyone else heard about it? Big, angular design with a recurve tanto style blade. Appears its a liner lock!

Yes there was a thread on the Benchmade summer line up released during Blade show which the Vicar was in. I personally find it quite hideous but I'm sure there will be others who love it.

Honestly I can't decide if I like it or not, some day I look at it it's it's ugly as crap, other days I kinda like it. The compound grind is neat but the funky deep crescent-moon re-curve throws me off, but I like how fullers look. anyone know if the deep re-curve counts as a serration? As in will that part be covered under Lifesharp? I kinda wish they went with fancier steel, blade like that is just begging for M4. Nothing wrong with S30V tho!

It's neat looking, but honestly, no Axis=no care. Frame/liner locks were cool in the 90s.

I like Sibert's heavy duty designs and I freaking LOVE the 275 Adamas. I wish he and Benchmade would get to work on a 6" long, 1/4" thick fixed blade based on the blade and handle shape of the 275. Bonus points if it comes with a rigid locking sheath like the 375.

Everyone else is selling the shit out of heavy duty fixed blades right now and Benchmade has NOTHING to offer in that category. Hell, I don't think they offer anything larger than than 4.5" anymore.

I had the chance to handle the 757 at Blade and was impressed with the way it felt in my hand. Its a very solid feeling knife and its nice to see BM do something other than an axis lock.
