Schrade 787 improved muskrat

What am I missing here? Granted, it's a nice mint piece, with etch and all, but that price is crazy IMO. It's not even a Walden, and the description says "1960's".

No wonder I can't get any good bargains anymore...

Any of the what's called "open stock" series of Schrade pocket knives can command high dollars right now, even more for the Schrade Walden's.

881 Schrade large stockman new old stock $ 81.00 + yesterday.

catch them if you can!

Dang! Glad I got mine when I did. Just a couple months ago at most, I got 2 881's for under $25 each, both new condition, just no box or paperwork.

G'Day, Buyer is from France. There is increasing International interest in Schrades. I regularly troll U.K. Ebay and prices there are unreal for very average Schrades.
When sellers open up Worldwide on the Bay they invariably achieve better prices.....I know not good for you guys, you like the lower 48 only US sellers as sometimes they achieve pathetic prices...oops I didnt let the cat out of the bag did I?? I always email USA only sellers and request permission to bid then the fireworks invariably start.! Hoo Roo

With the exchange rate between European countries and the US, they can buy items on e-bay for next to nothing at US prices.

A 100 Dollar knife here, only cost 50 UK pounds. even better in France and Germany.
