Very nice. Don't often see carved handle AKs.

Great price on the KK, too. If I didn't already have 5...

Nice work. One and all beautiful knives.

I got the almost-twin of this Salyan the other day for just $7 more, and it's a beauty. (Mine has the std. handle rings.) Would make a great companion piece if you have one in 15" or 12". Beautiful work, and the antler on this one is very nice. You know this would make a great match to the 15.5" that went the other day with smooth antler handle.

BTW, anyone else remember when silver mounted AK's were $175? I have almost this exact knife by Kumar, except it has the habaki bolster and black scabbard. This is a sweet deal.

OK, I'll bite. Who's Cal?

Cal Worthington, famous (or infamous) used car salesman. Wore a big cowboy hat. Every corny sales tactic you could ever think of, he thought of first. Sold a boatload of cars though.

His dog "Spot" that Yvsa remembered, that I had forgotten, was a variety of different critters as I recall. A staple of late night California TV for many years.

Hey, sorry to turn this into a "Cantina" thread, but is there anyone out there who remembers "The Perfect 36" in San Jose? MMM Carpets? The Old Sourdough and Watchikanokie? (Don't know how Yvsa would feel about that one, but I thought it was pretty hilarious. No way that would _ever_ fly now. Way too un-PC.)

What about Tom Labrie and "LaBrie's Night Comfort" on TV 44 in Sacramento? Those old UHF stations were great.

Many, many late night hours for years in the late '70's and early '80's spent wonderfully and wastefully with a pack of smokes and a six pack, watching hundreds of hours of "B" Movies.

OK, I'm easy to please... (-:

When I was a student at Santa Cruz, I used to lay awake drunk past 3 AM, waiting to hear Patsy Cline sing Crazy on the Radio. Was that KFAT radio? Can't recall.

Anyone remember the Million Dollar Movie?
