I can honestly say that that's a Busse that I've never seen before! The handles and finish look to be done aftermarket, though, no? Mind you, the G10 looks almost reminiscent of the Bowie, now... I could be wrong, as I'm not one of the so-called "experts" you're looking for. :D

I agree, those scales are very good looking, but not by Busse. And the blade clearly was a coated model, since stripped and has had an interesting finish applied.

I'm probably at least 90% sure that did not come from Busse like that. That's just my guess though.

I don't know what it's called, but it is freakin sweet!

If that's what happens when you get two knives to inbreed, I hope my knives go crazy!

100% aftermarket mods. You can see the INFI dimples that have not been polished out.

That was sold without handles, and with a black coating. The previous owner spent several hundred dollars to get that work done.

Looks good.

I would like to know how that finish was applied to the steel.

It does not look like paint, but patina, or acid etch finish of some sort?

I have tried to patina infi before (half heartedly for sure).

I like the handle work. Very nice and been meaning to getting around to doing something like that on mine. As for the blade, definitely aftermarket as been stated numerous times above me and to each his own. :)

.

That was customized by Reese Weland.Green/black sculpted micarta handles with hex screws.scary sharp edge.

It figures you would know,lol.
yes the work was done by Reese Weland,he stripped then acid etched the blade with a grey and black urban camo design and added the micarta grips.they are a gray/green/black looking color with very nice serrations sculpted in.they are held in place with 2 hex head screws.this pbf is the ultimate fighter, its very quick in the hand and the edge is razor sharp.
heres some more pics,
