Received it lightening fast from Auntie Saturday!

Amazing piece. Worth the wait and spending alittle extra out of my budget this month.

The whole family got a fresh coat of Fireclean.

Another view.

What stands out to me about Thamar's work is how crisp and detailed the cho is as well as "cho creep" minimized so we get more working edge.

The handle size, shape, and its relation to the curvature of the entire blade reminds me of the khukuris from the previous two centuries.

Thamar knows how to make a knife, that's for certain. That's a fine one you got right there.

I have dui yeks and yek dui's (two yeks and one dui:D) and also some Buras and they are all fantastic blades in every respect. I love Thamars old style brought modern. Grats on a very fine Yek!

Agree. Old style modern sums it up best.

I need to snag another one for my father in law now

It is a beautiful blade. Thamar is an artisan. Thanks for the photos.

Your a snake in the grass. Good for you. I thought I was so slick, I sent her an email before I realized you already crushed it. Nice move tickling the ivory mucho fast.

Pappa

Unfortunately, it wasn't me. I sent an email, but was too late. I wanted one with the short grip. I was late.
