Just finished a project for a client who requested a very specific design. He wanted a thin 2mm stock with a short hollow grind in cryo quenched 440c. Sam Tenon of TKW in Boise, ID did the blank to my specs.

The handle is wenge finished to 600 grit with tung oil and Ren wax. It's fastened with stainless bolsters and a mirror polish. Used my edge pro with Japanese chosera stones to put a razor edge on it.

Packaged it up and sent it out. Total time was less than 7 hrs. I'm getting faster and it feels good.

The presentation is good...love the packaging and the wax seal is nice touch. The handle looks good as well. I prefer more simple handles over the overly contoured and shaped handles. The blade...some of the design elements aren't what I would pick but it's not my knife. :) Overall a good job I think and thanks for posting.

Agreed. If this were a knife for my kitchen I like a full flat grind maybe with a tiny bit of convex curvature. Also I like harder stainless steels for a chef style blade but the client was very specific and he seems happy.
