8 Inch Chefs

Several months ago I was approached to do a limited edition line of chef's knives for a small company in New York. After much discussion of design they are almost done, all that remains is for the companies logo to be laser etched into the box lids and the logos (their's and mine to be put on the knives). While I was finishing these up I also made another 8 inch chef's knife for my sister as a present for her helping out with my upcoming wedding. All comments and criticisms welcome. Thanks for looking!

Specs:

Standard model
- Overall length: 14 1/2 inches
-Blade: 15n20 and 1095
-Handle: Stabilized black ash burl with stainless steel pins.



"Executive"? Model:
- Overall length: 14 1/2 inches
-Blade: 15n20 and 1095
-Handle: Mastodon molar, ebony, and mosaic pins




Boxes:

Curly maple and curly Mahogany






Chef's knife for my sister:

Overall length: 14 1/2 inches
Blade: W2
Handle: Mastodon molar, snakewood, ebony.
Pins: copper tubing and stainless steel

Curious, what was their want to make some chef's knives? Sounds like my kind of company...

Thanks B34NS. This company is an "artisan" chef's knife company and they were having stainless steel knives made in the USA by factories, the knives were OKAY but they wanted to have nicer models and I had a friend recommend me to them which doesn't hurt, a few designs later here we are.
 
Thanks Adam, I hope so! This customer was a little bit of a headache though constant delays and lack of communication, but thankfully that has been getting better since I think they have come to trust my ideas and designs more.
 
Exceptional "user" knives in every respect. I'll add that you're no slouch with the camera either. That W2 blade in particular - the brute de forge & stone background are totally like husband and wife (only they don't appear to be arguing, after which he will ultimately have to spend the night on their very uncomfortable sofa and yet still have to buy her flowers the next day to make up but I digress...)

Really beautiful, like my wife :p
