Who makes a bowie style blade with a single quillion on the bottom, not the top? preferably carbon steel.

Down Under knives? I have seen reviews saying they come pretty dull though.

Not a conventional Bowie handle, but would the Ka-Bar Becker Bundock Bowie BK20 work?

Or you could also take a Bowie you already like and remove the top guard - easy with power tools, slower with a hacksaw & files & sandpaper. I've seen some really cool mods of the Western 49 pattern Bowie. Cold Steel has some options you could modify.

If you don’t mind going custom, I’d ask around in the custom makers forums around here. I’m sure plenty of talented folks could whip up a nice single quillon Bowie.

That's a BEAUTY....👍👍👍

Randall still makes the 1, 5, and a few wider Bowies with single guards in carbon if requested. Not too hard to trim the guard on lots of Cold Steel models also.
