I figured that or the somewhat similar Maserin would be what you ended up with. Interesting comparison vid!

It's nice you were able to find something that fit all of your requirements. I have been eyeballing the Urban Trapper for a while now as well and you may have just pushed me over the edge to getting one.

playing with it for the last couple hours the one thing i would dock is the lock - it sticks. seems to be a common issue with titanium framelocks.. hopefully it'll get better with age.. i tried some pencil on it which helped. someone suggested sharpie - i'll wait on that for a little while longer, but either way it's not a big issue. so far i'm loving this thing

Yeah, my experience with Boker Ti frame locks has been similar. I have had several with sticky locks. Sharpie and graphite work but it's annoying to have to retreat all the time. I wish they would just start carbidizing their lock faces.

Good stuff, Mr. Fiddler. I own each of those knives, except the Trapper, and generally agree with your assessment of things. I too like a thin profile in the pocket and a deep clip.

Nice review, thank you. I share much of your same criteria for a pocket knife I would carry around the office. I found your review very informative and very helpful. Now I'm probably going to give Boker some of my money!

Really appreciate this follow-up to your suggestions thread, thank you much

One thing about the trapper in carbon-fiber and wood - you may be able to use and dremel and add more of a cut-out for disengaging the lock, since that was a criticism you had of some of the others.

Again, thank you for the follow-up video, glad to see you found something you liked

Actually the trapper doesn't present much of an issue in terms of unlocking. There's enough space.

Just got it yesterday and I can definitely see this being a favorite knife! Very light and smooth and the g10 scales are sculpted and smooth so they don't catch on my pocket. Here's a few pics including one to show the radiused scales.

I wish the Urban Trapper were just a bit smaller, other than that it looks like a great choice. Nice video.
