Hey guys, looking for an $80-120 knife, prefferbly a folder, but not deffinitly. My main concern is steel quality, I want somthing corrosion ressistant that will hold an edge. Any recomendations would be apreciated!
Thanks.

This is the second thread I am going to say this in, But hey, I believe in certain knives. A Delta Z Osprey is one hell of a knife for the price.:)

Although the description you have is very general, I would take a good look at the Camillus EDC in Talonite. I had a 154CM EDC and liked it okay, but if you are really worried about corrosion and edge holding then Talonite is the way to go. It is a cobalt based alloy which will never corrode and cuts very well. I believe the Talonite EDC can be had for around 120.

To my knowledge it is the only Talonite blade in this price range, but there may be more.

As far as steels are concerned, 440C is a good compromise between performance and corrosion resistance. Some people knock it for not being the latest and greatest, but I consider it to be my favorite overall stainless steel.

A lot of good knives are available in the $80-$120 price range – it is hard to make a specific recommendation without knowing what you intend to use it for.
For folders, I would take a close look at the Benchmade and Spyderco line ups. For a small fixed blade, check out the Spyderco Moran drop point.
Premium stainless steels such as VG-10, 154CM or ATS34 should give you very good edge holding and decent rust resistance.

How about a Spyderco Endura, or maybe even the slightly smaller Delica? Either can be had for way under your targeted price.

Jeez. You kinda hit a "sweet spot" as far as price. You can find a million good knives in that price range you'd be totally happy with.

You'll get a lot of recommendations for Spyderco, but I think they're ugly and a little over-priced, with a few exceptions.

I'd say anything Benchmade. You really can't get a better factory folder in that price range than a Benchmade.

I suggest a Benchmade Ares.

Other than that, you might step down and get TWO nice Kershaws for that price that would make you totally happy!

Yeah, you do need to be more specific :)

So I will recommend my current EDC - SOG X-Ray. It's ATS-34 steel with a partially serrated, tanto blade.

Oh, yeah. I forgot. ANYTHING by SOG would fit the bill.

Dude, you really need to do some more research and narrow it down to at LEAST half a dozen knives and then we could help you out a lot more.

You ARE in a great price range, though.

Folder or fixed blade?
Get SPYDERCO Bill Moran Featherweight fixed blade and Delica folder for this amount and you will be prepared to each imaginable knife use situation in real life :)

At that price range, I'd say Spyderco (especially when you're paying less than retail rates).
Spyderco Endura or Native should serve you very well.
