ok, So back in April I was at a knife outlet in Gatlin Burg Tenn. My son wanted the 850 Bravo so I bought it for him. About a month later he decided it wasn't for him. However I liked it so much I traded him my ZT 350 for it. Now, I don't use this knife every day but I do carry it according to what I will be doing at work. Usually it gets carried a couple times a week. I think its a great knife. Smooth deployment good steel 13c26, heavy built. So why did it get discontinued? ( I assume because of sales ) So why did it not catch on. Am I missing something? I think it its every bit as good as higher dollar heavy built knives.

I can only speak for myself but personally I prefer my knives to have a point. The Bravo 850 is a more specialized tool than I have a need for.

I had to look this model up because I could not picture it. It has the Besch Wedge feature. Thread title S/B 850, 80 had me going astray.

Two heavy duty liner locks. Your son is lucky to have such a learned father.
