810 thumbstud question?

I love the 810, I am hoping to buy one to edc today. I also love wave modding just about everything, is it possible to remove the thumbstud so I can add a zip tie? Thanks in advance

Just grab each side with a small wrench, socket, pliers etc and unscrew it.

It's a Torx. I remove mine to sharpen.

You would be looking at one very small zip tie, unless you are going to drill. It's a small hole.

thats right, #6 Torx..

I use the 950 studs on many...forgot they are not standard equipment on the 810..

Yeah, get two T6 drivers (Torx) from harbor freight or something. Each kit cost $3... Take the thumbstuds off that way, so that you don't scratch, mark, or completely chew them up with pliers.
